I love how they look when amazon posts them using standard pixel allotment.. I do not like the ruddy fabric that these shoes are made from.. its like a heavy, dense canvas, with generous pores in the fabric that catch every bit of dirt in the air, every little flying bug, skin particles, frogs, and holds it in the fabric like some macabre couture footwear you’d see in a George Romero cult horror flickThese New Balance fit right, look good, and seem well built. There's your three stars. Unfortunately, they don't come anywherenear what I would expect out of a pair of New Balance shoes as far as comfort. For the record, I am a veteran skateboarder and know what I'm getting into usually with skate shoes. This brings me to my next gripe. Out of the box, these shoes had weak flick and and virtually no grip on the shoe where it slides up the deck for an Ollie. If I shop around, I can find more skate-able shoes that are more comfortable and half the price or less than these New Balance Numeric 212 shoes. Immensely disappointing.I had to return mine because I'm a hard fit. But they were very nice shoes. I was disappointed that I couldn't use them.Looks cool. Fit's perfect. Comfy
