love everything about this boot except how the insulation is laid out. it seems like it's the same thickness of insulation throughout which makes for warm legs and cold toes. this makes the comfort temp limit around the -20F range. depending on whether or not you are active or just standing around. would buy againI've had a pair of Muck Boots for several years now. I volunteered with the County Sheriffs Rescue Squad in Northeast MN. I needed boots that were water proof and warm The boots I purchased were rated down to -20 below and were perfect for me needs. My wife needed a pair of waterproof boots when she joins me out ice fishing. The lake might have 10 inches of slush under the snow, and Northern Minnesota as most know, can be extremely cold. Just finished three weeks of temps way below 0.Anyway, I bought her these Muck boots that are rated to -60 below for warmth. I had to buy a Men's size 8 for her. She wears a Size 9 in women's sizes. We were out ice fishing yesterday for about 4.5 hours. Her feet stayed dry and were warm the whole time. BTW we caught a lot of trout, but not saying the boots had anything to do with that. Well perhaps we fished longer then normal, because her feet were warm!Highly recommend these bootsGreat boots, very warm. The calf is just a bit smaller than I would have liked, but they fit well otherwise. I do have large legs tho, so not shocked the calf is snug.We got these for our son. Great boots and good qualityIam 70 years old and they where difficult to remove. My other Muck boots rolled down at top for ease of putting on and off. However, the high rubber lining of this particular boot, prohibited the ease of getting off the boot.Good Muck quality, good fit (true to size). Seem to have a good, traction sole. Same as my buddy who has had a pair for 3 years and says they're very good on ice. Have to field test when its sub 20 degrees to determine warmth. Good start though. These are great boots. The fit is fine and the foot bed feels good. Plenty of stability. I added gel insoles for some extra support. I happen to be dealing with some plantar fasciitis and that really helped. I worn Muck boots for years. They’re a great boot and will continue to buy them. Haven’t used them on ice yet so I can’t speak to the slippage prevention.Boots are just what I hoped they would be. I have been wearing a cheaper pair that ripped. If these last it would have been worth the money. We will see. They seem to be made very well. I could wear these all day long. Very comfy with good support. I'M a mucked for life.My husband just loves muck boots. They keep his feet warm. We ordered a size 14 in the Mens Arctic Ice. A size 13 arrived, and fits him beautifully, so we won't be sending them back. His actual size is a 13 - measured as per instructions on the Muck Boot website - and a set of Muck boots size 13 boots that we just ordered didn't fit. They were about 1 cm shorter than the boots they were there to replace - which after 3 years of constant wear have sprung a leak. Has Muck Boot changed maunfacturers?Best wellies you'll likely ever own. Yes, these wellies are expensive but you really do get what you pay for. As with other Muck Boot wellies previously owned I found them extremely comfortable and with an 8mm neoprene construction you just know your feet are going to be warm and dry in the harshest of conditions. Bring the winter on.Bought these to wear during what little Winter and snow we had, they were fantastic, roasting warm feet with just a pair of cotton socks on with them. Feet we lovely and warm and not too hot. They are expensive but if you hate cold feet these will solve that issue perfectly and make the spend less painful.Worth every pennyUnbelievably comfortable boots !! Easy to get on and off and warm !!
