Great materials, very light, and some nice adjustable features. When I hold it up against an elite pad from the big 3 manufacturers, this pad feels like it offers slightly less protection. Now, that could be related to the player these are targeting. If you don't get real physical, or play in a non-contact beer league, this is an excellent choice given the price point. My only grief is the bicep guards. The bicep pad is excellent, but the use of an elastic polyester strap that is not adjustable doesn't allow you to get a truly custom fit. For me, that's a small negative that wouldn't hinder me from using this. I'm choosing a different pad because I get physical a lot and like to block shots. I want a little more bulk and protection.
