I have bought two of these ice buckets because I used them a lot in the laboratory. The 4L is very spacious and can fit multiple laboratory flasks and a rack for experiments or transporting (see attached pictures). There are a few things to consider before buying:1) The image display on the webpage labeled as "4L Bucket" (a round ice bucket with a rounded lid) seems to be the wrong image because if you buy that Ice bucket thinking you're going to get that same exact image then you're going to be disappointed. At least from the two times that I have already bought them. You're going to get what I display on my images. he seller should really update their images. I bought it at first for the rounded ice bucket and got instead the square one. I was mad until I started using it and figured that I really like the square one instead due to the generous space that it offers. However, I know this is not for everybody.2) Quality of the ice buckets may vary. I have bought two of these: A black and blue one. The black one arrived in what I can described as used or old with many imperfections, small micro holes on the lid and scratches. However, the blue one came near flawless, with very few imperfections, very smooth on the lid, inside and out. So it seems to be very random what you get. I still have the black one and use it a lot but have this in mind before buying.3) Lastly, when you get your ice bucket, do not wash, spray or clean with alcohols. These are made from polyurethane and they absorb alcohols very quickly which results in a visible swelling of the material. When cleaning, use a damp cloth with small amount of soap and water. A few sprays with alcohols such as ethanol or isopropyl won't degrade it immediately but constant washing with these reagents, especially 90% isopropyl can degrade it with the constant swelling and evaporation. In terms of durability, I have the black one since February with very heavy use for experiment and transporting samples and still going strong. It's just the cosmetic issue of when it arrived that bothers me but it does its function very well. The blue one is very recent but I imagine it will do just as fine. The 4L ice bucket is also quite large (for me is very good since I use a lot of samples and materials). However, if using ice, have in mind that it can get quite heavy. I use it transport samples from my institution to the nearby hospital and it does get a little heavy but the space is very good.
