Wife had knee replacement surgery and this workrd great for pain relief and helped to keep swelling downGlad I chose this one as it has a lot of thoughtful design additions that others don't. The telescoping suitcase handle is a big help in getting it to where it needs to go once it's filled with water and ice. There is a check valve in the hose connectors to keep you from pumping water onto the floor in the event you forget to hook up the wrap. The wrap itself is designed well for the knee (if that's the one you choose), and has a soft fabric feel on the outside. It is effective and gets super cold. Stick with it until you go numb, then it gets easier!No leaks anywhere, other than some condensation on the tubing, which is impossible to prevent considering how cold it gets. All tubes have high quality connectors and are insulated.The controls are simplistic which is what you want. Very easy to figure out, virtually moron proof. It will naturally oscillate between active pumping and 'rest' periods. Of course you can override this just by pressing the power button again, which is what I do as I change the wrap from one knee to another. Hence I don't need the rest session. It lets you choose the duration of your sessions in 10 minute increments.I have hypermobility syndrome and my femur (where it interacts with the patella) basically has such shallow medial and lateral chondyles that they look almost flat on x-ray. I'm 45 now and the years of the patella sliding every which way but loose over the years has taken its toll. I've been to an orthopedic surgeon, deep tissue massage therapists, tried all sorts of holistic and nutrient based solutions. Highly recommended.I bought this in prep for an upcoming total knee replacement surgery and began using it the day of surgery. Yes, total knees are often day surgeries now! My wife elevated my leg and wrapped the Beluga Max knee wrap around my knee and started up the pump of ice cold circulating relief! I actually left it running 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off all night the first couple of nights. This thing is a godsend and I would recommend that ANYONE getting joint surgery consider buying one. Ive used it daily for the last 5 weeks and after every PT session. It helps...A LOT. A few days ago I wrapped it on after a PT session and...nothing! It wouldn't turn on. Oh no!!! I'm addicted to this thing now. I emailed the company and told them what I'd tried already and suggested the power cord had died. Ryan got right back to me and said he'd send out a new cord and timer ASAP. It showed up the next day! Now that's good old fashioned 110% customer service. Thank you Ryan. Now just go out and buy one. Trust me, you don't want to do this without one. There are other brands but the repeat timer feature is awesome and the capacity of this one keeps things cold for over 24 hours. I use 6-7 frozen water bottles floating in the water and just keep a second set in the freezer to swap out. They cool the water great and avoid the need to dump out melted ice each time.Leaked a little when we used it the first time. Had to mess with the fittingsThis product more than met my expectations. I had my knee replaced and following surgery, I was able to set the digital time for how long the machine would provide the cold and how long it would be off. Once I placed the knee wrap on my knee, I would get continuous on and off with the Beluga MAX Arctic Flow Therapy System. I couldn't have asked for a better way to ice my knee post surgery.Initially ordered the ankle cuff by mistake and their customer service quickly exchanged it for the knee cuff.Used on daily basis after total knee replacement (TKR) for 8 weeks. It was a life saver. Very easy to assemble and use. Instead of ice, I placed a couple of frozen water bottles in with the water and it provided chilled water circulating around my knee for hours. Definitely a must buy if preparing for knee surgery.This has been a life saver after knee replacement surgery. The ease of use and pain relief is 10 stars!My husbands replaced knee thanks you
