First of all, I had to send back the first pair I ordered because they were too snug. I went up a half size and they were perfect. (I normally wear a 9 in a shoe boot like these but the 9 did not work for me.) Everything about this shoe is good--they are not too boxy, nice detail design, and a good heel height for 'messier' winter days. I bought these to replace and old pair of Skechers De-Lites. These are far superior--no pieced leather to rip out which happened on both pairs of my Skechers .The reason for four stars and not five--I haven't worn them for an outing yet.These are as warm and comfortable as I had hoped. My feet get cold very easily. I had a great pair of Sketchers faux fur lined slide ons/mules that looked almost like clogs, but were more stylish. They were halfway between dress and casual shoes. Exactly what I want - something warm with some style and around a two-inch heel rise. They wore out and I have not been able to find even something moderately close. Across the board apparently warm means no heel of any sort. So I got these because they were the closest I could find. I love them for kicking around and sliding on for quick ventures outside, but they aren't dressy enough for me to want to wear to work - where it's freezing. I would prefer a leather or synthetic outer rather than the suede finish, but I will be buying another pair because they meet requirement number one - WARM!For ANYONE with circulation problems, heel pain, or foot and ankle problems, these are the shoes! That are street OT house shoes— just as good by the fire or in a snowstorm. Aggressive sole keeps YOU from slips. Worth every penny!My foot is a medium and they fit just right. If you have a high arch or wide foot they would be too tight. Run a little short. I am between a 8.5 and 9. Ordered 9 and they fit good. They are very warm. Ice grips work fine on snow on top of ice. But if your ice is shiny beware! But then if it is shiny you should be wearing ice spikes or ice skates! Great for walking the dog!I was looking for a replacement shoe for my old standbys, which were falling apart. This shoe was perfect! My husband and I travel frequently and I was looking for something that I can slip off and on easily but I needed them to be weather resistant for travelling in rain and snow. These are perfect! They are easy on/easy off but they are sturdy in my feet for the times I need to run through snow/rain to get in and out of travel plazas without slipping or losing a shoe! I would definitely give these shoes two thumbs up!I love Merrill’s and the Encore ice have been my long time go to however these are very small. I have worn size 9 for years in this shoe and I would probably have to go to a 10 at least. Very disappointed in this particular pair due to the size being so far off.After reading reviews, I bought 1/2 size larger than usual size and they felt just right. As I wore them in they started feeling loose, so I ordered a pair of a different color in my usual size. They felt a little tight at first but got to be just right over time. They’re so comfy, like slippers, but have substantial soles so are perfect as indoor/outdoor shoes. I bought 2 more pairs in my usual size because they were on sale and I know they will be favorites of mine for a long time.These are a little lighter than I expected. I have another pair I was trying to replace so I was slightly disappointed. But they are very nice and super comfortable.Aweful, sent them back instantly. Cheap, I wanted real leather. I have a pair, and they are 5 years old or older.
