Not dishwashers safe. That’s okay. It makes great burgers. I weighed 5.5oz hamburger and it made a perfect burger. I like the papers that came with it the papers make for easy burge removal.I purchased this product because I was searching for bun size hamburgers that were somewhat uniform in size and easy to freeze. This press does the job and is very easy to clean after use. The frozen hamburgers are fairly easy to separate due to the wax paper in between each burger. I highly recommend this product to other family members and friends alike.This did the job. The handle is kind of useless and not needed. It makes BIG burgers, especially turkey burgers, which do not shrink down when cooked, like beef. We are not huge burger eaters, so a smaller size would be more useful. I would return it if I could. Probably useful for others so I'm giving it 4 stars.After using a plastic press I found this one to be far more efficient! I found no issue with the handle as I have large hands so I just pressed them with my hands over the handle.My husband loves it.
