Like most that may have ordered this kit, the issue with my Matag side by side was the ice chute would freeze up every other week due to the fact the flap would not seal properly and let warmer air into the freezer.This kit was perfect. Apparently it’s a newer design as the arm has a part that pushes the flapper and keeps it straight and the flap itself has foam on it. The solenoid is also a bit quieter that the original. Took all of 20m to swap and works great!!
