Great steam mop for tile. Really helps get grout clean. Not too heavy. A friend who cleans homes recommended it as she knows our whole house is tile. I wanted to get the years of dust, dirt, and grime from other tenants out of the wood grain, not to mention whatever dirt myself, 2 cats and German Shepard has contributed as well. It only took my a short time to do my kitchen, bathroom, living room, hallways, bedroom and dressing room floors. Most impressed with the grime removed from the base of the toilet and tub where they meet with the tile and grout. I love how there are no chemicals used to get things cleaner than harsh, toxic chemicals ever could. Last few days I have been walking bare foot, and at least 2 times a day, I say to myself how much I cant believe how clean my floors are. Only regret is not getting one sooner.~CCThe ONLY steam mop I have tried that is capable of cleaning my textured floor tile. All other methods/mops would push the dirt into the textured portions of the tile, requiring me to "float" it out with water and a brush. The nubby, long-fingered side of this mop + the heaviest steam setting actually pulled the dirt out of the textured parts! I will still have to clean the grout by hand, but this is already making life with pets and tile floors SO MUCH EASIER. It is easy to put together, too. Unlike my old Bissell, which only lasted a year, this mop makes steam with the mopping motion, so no more sore fingers trying to hold the steam button down! Be aware, they recommend distilled water or a filtering water tank, which this item did not have. As I have family members with asthma and allergies, I appreciate disinfecting with steam as opposed to bleach or scented cleaners. Also know it is safe for my pets and kiddos. Dries very fast!Put it to the test, my kitchen floor was really dirty and I put it to the big test. I vacuumed before using and it was really dirty and it did a good job. I went over it a couple of time to make sure it was clean and it did a good job I was really impressed . So far so good and we will see how long it lives. I have two boxers dogs that love to play in the mud and drool. I also have cats that like to puke on my nicely cleaned floors and rugs just after it has been cleaned.
