First off, to my knowledge I haven’t used this brand, but I have used this design. I’ve worked as a custodian for twenty years, it was my first real job out of high school and I stuck with it until I was 39. I’ve used various types of dust mop handles and this had the least frustrations. With the metal clip ones I noticed after a while they lock up, and if yo I try to make tight turns one side of your dust mop lifts off the floor leaving a pile of duff. This one, I haven’t had that issue with. I’ve worked at a high school for ten years, and every day I swept my hallway with a dust mop attached to this mount. I won’t use any other if I don’t have to.
