It's a perfectly good tool box for a small amount of tools. I didn't read the dimensions in the description carefully and was envisioning something like the two cases I have from Harbor Freight that are 5 ft tall. This thing is MUCH smaller but it's fine if that's what you're expecting. It should serve you well if you aren't expecting SnapOn quality.The reason I am not bothering with a return is because this is the second Xmas gift tool chest I purchased. The first one, from another manufacturer and cheaper, was dropped kicked by UPS. This one, I waited by the door for its arrival. Amazon delivered this one. No drop kicking.I was hopeful. I took the base out of the package and didn't notice immediately the dents. There is a dent at the front where the lock bars go and then in the back there is a buckle near the side tray area. The top box is lopsided. Had to tap the lid to open the top box. It is lower on one side than the other.I apologized to my partner and promised I would go to the store to purchase one off the floor for Valentine's Day.. Because this chest has been needed for work for about 7 months, I am not trying to do another return. It is going to a shop where I expect it to be beaten. I just didn't want it to come out of the box beaten. Wanted the thrill of a new chest to last at least a month.Just posting this review as a heads up.-Tired of returnsAlthough I didn't fully assemble it, I could tell that it didn't meet the standards I was looking for. Not that it was poorly made, I just wanted something a little beefier. I would compare it to a lower end Craftsman chest. Which isn't bad. But I found one at Harbor Freight by U.S. G(ENERAL (Mechanic's cart) That better fit my needs for around the same price.Very well built and a bargain product. Excellent.The metal in this tool box is very thin & subsequently on the weak side and probably should be treated somewhat gingerly. Mine was damaged in shipping & had to be replaced.Make sure you read measurements! Made for a very small person with little toolsIf you're wanting something cheap, find this box on sale. Otherwise, spend the extra money and get something that will last.
