A matter of concern for me when buying shoes online is whether or not they'll fit well. It's the "ok, let's see" moment of truth that comes with unpacking and trying-on. First observation out of the box was a product that is well constructed. Close attention was given to using excellent materials and assembling a quality product. It appeared that Wolverine takes pride in what they do - i.e. making quality footwear The shoes could't have fit better. Support was/is excellent and they felt comfortable when walking. The no-slip Vibram soles actually do give a feeling of stability on icy surfaces.I took the extra effort to apply weatherproofing cream for extra protection. After awhile when the shoes got scuffed I reapplied the weatherproofing and the scars blended and the shoes looked practically brand new. Also, I use a shoe tree to preserve the shape and form of the product.
