I have broken a few of the wooden handles from the box stores on my push broom over the years. This time I decided to upgrade. The handle fits tight, with minimal slop. The threads are a lot tighter than the metal inserts, that's a good thing. Just be careful to start it straight and did take some force to get it into my broom head. It feels really sturdy when in use. I expect it to be a long lasting handle. I will update if that's not the case.Update: after 6 months of hard use the handle is still in great shape. Its used with a push broom for the shop and driveway. Its holding up great! Recommended!
