With the amount of money we were spending on canned sparkling water - this has saved us a lot. And bonus - no longer dozens of cans to recycle!We don’t Use flavors but I do add an 1/8 tsp. Of baking soda to an occasional bottle when I want club soda .Should ‘pay ‘ for itself in about a half year.Sorry I waited so long to buy one! First co2 cartridge lasted a little over a month for the 2 of us. Cost was half what we were paying for canned water .I like the ease that the "Art" series has for not only replacing the gas cartridge but also for just snapping in the bottles. I had an old Soda Stream for which I had to screw the water bottles in and it just got to be too much. This model just lets me put them in and tilt them back. The gas cartridges work about the same way! I am VERY pleased with this purchase.It’s fantastic! Really sleek and I love the handle. I had an older soda stream but the second I saw this, I decided to upgrade because it looked so beautiful. Really happy I did! The set is also worth it. The bottles hold up really well in the dishwasher - haven’t had any warping yet and they are on the bottom rack. Also pleased it came with two bottles so when I do an exchange, I already have two to send back immediately.Omg it’s awesome. I used to drink all types of flavored seltzer water in the can from the store. But it wasn’t even that good. It would not be very carbonated and would go flat immediately if u pour it over ice. But this machine is magical!!! It’s super carbonated!!! Wow!!!! Omggggggg buy it now!!!!This unit is replacing a prior model that had a button on top to push when you wanted to carbonate a bottle which sometimes would pinch your fingers while pressing the button. As someone who has arthritic issues just being able to pull down on the arm has made using this model much easier. There have been reports that the carbonation canisters don't last as long but ours have lasted as long if not longer than the previous model so I don't know what the other folks were doing that we don't. Overall this model is MUCH easier to use than the previous one as there is no twisting or screwing of anything to make it work.I bought this product to help me get away from the sodas in the stores they’re bad for you there’s nothing good about them so I got the soda stream and it is fantastic turning my water good water into my own type of soda it’s fantastic you can put any flavor in it you like it’s just great it works really well to.I’ve had some form of a Sodastream machine since they first came out and unfortunately for those machines (and Sodastream) I quit using them only because they were just ever so slightly a bother to screw the bottle on only to keep checking the fizzy level to make sure it was just right. But then I got this one and it changed everything. My Italian MIL came over, bringing along grocery store brand “sipho” sparkling water/soda water and I showed her how to make her own with mine and she looked more elated than I’ve seen her in 15 years. I needed brownie points anyway, so I Amazon shipped one of these baddies to her house as a surprise for when she returned home… to say she may love me more than her child I married is an understatement. All she does for him and he doesn’t send her random things that improve her life - I do! Hehehe anyway it is awesome if you love sparkling anything. Now to find some smaller portable mini bottles……….I just cannot live without it. It reminds me of my cell phone every time I get a new one it continues to improve
