I purchased four of these chairs. The instructions were easy to follow, and assembling the first chair took about 10 minutes after all of the parts are removed from the box. The chairs are very comfortable and stable. They look and feel like high-end office furniture.A couple of years ago someone posted a question asking if the arms can be removed, and the answer is yes. The armrest ends are screwed into the chair's frame posts. Unscrew the post ends, turn the side frame upside down, step on the armrest, and pull the frame upwards until the armrest dislodges from the frame. I purchased 1 inch round plastic plug, pipe tubing caps to cover the open frame posts. I also replaced the caster wheels with 3 inch hard surface wheels. The chairs now easily slide in under desks and tables.
