Work gave me this ridiculously large and heavy laptop as well as a laptop bag that is incredibly bulky but doesn't fit anything else of value. I now use a laptop sleeve for it and put it into this roller bag. I can put my purse and lunch bag in and roll it all together in one bag. I'm very happy not to be carrying several separate bags and my shoulders are grateful. To travel.I ordered this in 2017 and have been happily using it ever since until the wheels began to wear down a week ago. So I reordered a replacement but that replacement is not the same quality. The material in this new one is floppy whereas my old one had stiffer material that stood up. The new one falls forward when it's empty whereas the old one stood up without tipping over. I'm not sure I want to keep it but I need it to get to work on the subway. Not very happy.I had this bag for about a month plus. It won’t stay upright and falls down if not stuffed completely. I guess its because of the way it was packed and sent from the business folded up at the bottom.I believe it would have been a good bag if it wasn’t for that.I can't really rate on durability as I just received it and have not used it yet. It seems to be sturdy though. For traveling, I don't think it would be the best as there wouldn't be much protection for your items especially on airline travel. I bought it to use to carry folders and other things for meetings and I think it will be excellent for that. It holds a lot! The briefcase like bag I was using was very heavy even when empty, and did not hold very much. The outside pockets are convenient for a bottle of water or other things you would need to grab quickly. Only problem I foresee is that the inside is just one big area so if whatever is on the bottom is what you need you will have to unpack everything.I live in the city and exclusively use mass transit. This bag comes in really handy for every shopping trip, whether it is groceries, books or other items. I chose it based on the reviews. At first I was a little leery, thinking it might be clumsy since you can't roll or fold it. But that's not the case.I've had quite a few rolling bags. I have a rolling backpack which is great for travel. I've used it to house clothing, but with my netbook and other stuff, there is little room left. I can see traveling with this bag much more easily because it has more room in it. I'm fairly certain it will go on a plane just fine - but I'd put my netbook in a separate sleeve and have a sling bag handy in case I'd have to check it.What I've learned is that the bags with those wheels that you turn in yourself that are held mainly by a piece of metal do not hold up well at all. In fact, the second I put a large bottle of soda or something similar in them, they collapse on the spot. I suppose those bags are only made for really light weight stuff. That's why I chose this one. These wheels are plastic, but they are sturdy. These wheels are just like those on an insulated bag that I got at Trader Joe's -- that bag has held up for 3 years now, and still going strong. However, this bag will be more useful in that it is wider and more like a real tote bag -- but bigger and nicer. It can function as a tote or luggage as you like. I can see that it would be great as an overnighter and for those who pack very lightly, it could be the only bag they'd need for a weekend trip or more. This is why It's far more versatile than the smallest rolling luggage you can take on the plane. I can see taking it on trips with a backpack that I can strap onto the handle to pull them both along.I know I will use this bag all the time -- you can carry it over your shoulder and then roll it when you need to. I plan to put my purse inside of it as well until the bag is too full. But by the size of it, this will rarely happen! The straps are long enough to be pulled along for an average or shorter person, however, the handle is a great feature.I initially purchased as a bag for a state license exam. It held up well with all the materials I needed. It’s now my grocery bag. It feels good not to carry all those bags by handI love this product. I use it for work to take everything I need so I don't have to carry a heavy bag anymore. It would be a great travel bag also. When it's loaded the front of the bag droops and the feet drag along the ground. This is my 2nd Olympus bag of this style. I had the other one for over 5 years and I used often it for work and for shopping. It got old and scruffy, so I decided to replace it. This one cost more than 2 times what I paid for my original, but I know the brand so... It is well made, it looks like a genuine product even better quality than my original bag and at first I was very pleased with it. however with the same things in it (laptop, paperwork and lunch box) the front of the bag bulges out and touches the floor creating a dragging sound as I wheel it along, you have to tip it quite far back to stop the noise and of course, this is damaging the feet. I will try to find a piece of thick cardboard to place in the bottom of the bag to give it some extra support, perhaps that will help.Tips over, besides that not even 3 months using it once a week and the handle stopped going all the way down in one side. I'd like to know what the manufacturer has to say about it. GNote: giving 1 star only because otherwise doesn't allow me to submit. It could be a bit bigger but it does work well. Perfect for transporting food shopping living in a condo.Perfect fit for air Canada carryon dimensions. Only thing is you can’t put a lock on zipper if you need to secure bag.
