It took me around 2 hours to build this with sanity breaks, the instructions are very vague as others have mentioned but I was able to figure it all out in the end. The key is to separate out all your parts and identify them beforehand so you don't lose your mind. I ended up not even using the middle sized screws, I only used the large and small screws, I also did not use the seed catcher because I don't like the way those stick out and ruin the silhouette of the cage.For sturdiness I would say this is not a good cage for anything larger than a quaker. The bars are very thin, I can bend them with my fingers easily. I'm using this cage for a female Kakariki and a female cockatiel so that isn't an issue for me. But if you have a macaw, a cockatoo, a grey or anything like that...I would pass on this cage unless you just know your bird won't chew the bars off. That said, this cage is very attractive and provides a great amount of jumping and playing space for my very hyper active baby kakariki and enough personal space for my older cockatiel. It would make a great aviary for finches or parakeets too if you like watching them fly around. I really like this cage and I think it was worth the money!If you need to know anything about this cage it's this: 1.) The instructions are very unclear so be patient and prepared for some frustrion and 2.) the bars are very flimsy and not made for large birds so skip this cage if you have anything bigger than a Quaker
